About & Welcome

Hello, everybody.

Let's go from the beginning.

First of all, let me say few words about me.

I'm 23 years old, and I come from Croatia. Thus, my english might not sometimes be perfect, and I hope you can forgive me that.
I do PHP/MySQL programming as a hobby, and have great passion for RPG/Strategy games.
From that point of view, what I like best is developing some of those games.
Aside from PHP and MySQL I use jQuery, and have some basic knowledge about AJAX and JS.

Plain enough for starting my own game, and learning more programming during development.

So far, it's going good.

I ain't posting this with just an idea, so far I've made portion of base structure and some base code for:
- map system
- combat system

That are what I call - "hard" parts. Since they're not just plain post forms or plain PHP/HTML scripting.

In next few weeks, perhaps a month or more, I'll post here as much as I find time, in hope that my idea which I plan to do in english language and in croatian, will be of some interest to all browser based games fans out there.

Soon, I'll post my general idea, as soon as I write a bit long post in english language, and afterwards, online demos and screenshots and game concepts will be posted here as well.

I only hope that this way, some of you which would like game concept, will spare few moments after I finish it, register at game and give it a try.


Now, I might spend few sentences about game idea:

This is, basically a Heroes of Might&Magic clone, but web based and with some improvements, as well as some changes in game mechanism. I'm no lawyer but as I see it: I just can't make something that has copyrights, but I can do "like" game, and try to give something to the community. We all know everything there is about HOMM game(s) and all I'll do here is post some dev notes, and try to get some audience before website comes online, just so some people will try to play it, and maybe someday we'll have a community.
For welcome post, that would be about all. Next, I'll be doing some tehnical posts soon ;)
